Guizhou Vocational and Technical College of Water Resources and Hydropower is a full-time public higher vocational college approved by Guizhou Provincial People's Government and formally registered by the Ministry of Education. Its predecessor is Guizhou Provincial Water Conservancy and Electricity School founded in 1956, which belongs to Guizhou Provincial Water Conservancy Department. Located in Guizhou (Qingzhen) Vocational Education City, the new campus covers an area of 600 mu and has a planned building area of 314,000 square meters.
